Friend, trainer and MQHA Vice President Tom Yanz had a stroke while showing a horse at the State Show in Fergus Falls Saturday, April 18th. Tom is at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Your thoughts and prayers for Tom, wife Jill, and mother Phyllis are greatly appreciated. We will provide updates here as soon as they are available.
Tom will be going home tomorrow, Tuesday June 9.
Jill will bring him each day to Sister Kinney to continue his therapy.

In the last week Tom has made remarkable progress. The therapist have him walking on his own. Today they even had him walking outside on the patio. Tomorrow he is going on kind of a field trip to Bachman's to walk around and look at all the flowers and plants. He still needs help getting out of bed, but is doing much better with that even. His speech has improved even more in the last week. He seems to be eating better also. The prayers are really working!

MQHA needs you to help in the benefit efforts for Tom.

All events will be held following Saturday's show in the Coliseum,
starting at approximately 6:30 pm.
